This qualification has been designed to enable learners to: build confidence in their maths skills; build knowledge of the fundamentals of maths;  fill skills gaps to enable progression to other qualifications, further learning or employment;    achieve bite sized qualifications at their own pace and at a level that is appropriate;  make the most of work, education and everyday life.
The qualification content will be based around common interests of the group to aid in the learning process.
